This Spring, UMass Global, will be offering their very popular Network+ Certification Program to all Frontier members. This training program is fully covered under your union bargained tuition assistance program, with no out-of-pocket expense to you. The training program starts Tuesday Mar. 7th and will run for seven consecutive weeks on Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 6:30PM- 9:30PM (PST). The class will be held LIVE ONLINE using UMass Global's Adobe Connect Pro platform and in case you miss a session, all class sessions will be recorded and can be watched at your convenience.  After completing the training program, you will be prepared to take the CompTIA Network+ Certification exam.

Frontier Unit Update

Last week a Bloomberg Report was published regarding Frontier Communications filing for bankruptcy. CWA immediately reached out to Frontier for an immediate response, but Frontier refused to release an official statement. CWA was able to obtain the following details from a management only email:

• business and operations are solid

• working on reducing debt

• continuing delivering services in 29 states

• we have a sufficient liquidity and cash flow to run the business

• customer should expect no changes

• they asked them to ignore the noise and focus on the business, support teammates, and service our customers

As CWA obtains additional information we will inform the membership.
